Denver has been chosen as the host city of the ESL Pro League Season 11 Finals, the tournament organiser announced on Wednesday.

The event will be held from April 10-12 at the 1STBANK Center and feature the top six sides according to the new format that ESL is introducing for the revamped 24-team Pro League.

The winners of each of the four round-robin groups will face off in the Play-In Stage, which will send the winning sides to the semi-finals and the losers to the third round of the playoffs. Meanwhile, the runners-up and the third-placed sides from each group will be placed in the first round of the single-elimination bracket.

EPL Season 11 will culminate with a big event in Denver

Before Sunday's best-of-five grand final, the two MDL Global Challenge finalists will step onto the stage to contest the title as ESL plans to give teams who compete in its second tier "an appropriate setting and exposure whilst increasing the product quality."

The announcement marks the return of a Pro League event to North America after three consecutive events in Europe (two in Odense and one in Montpellier). Back in 2017, DreamHack, which has the the same parent company as ESL, hosted an Open event in Denver, at the National Western Complex, where Cloud9 scooped the title after beating BIG in the final.

Discounted early bird tickets for the Pro League Finals will be available early next week, according to ESL. During this window, prices will range from $15 to 89$ (plus fees).

Meanwhile, ESL has revealed the on-air team for the event, which looks almost the same as the one from the Pro League Season 10 Finals. David "DAVEY" Stafford will make another appearance on the desk, alongside host Tres "stunna" Saranthus and fellow analyst Chad "SPUNJ" Burchill, while the same casting duos who were in Odense will provide live commentary on the action.
